Save your Funeral Plan Document
Your loved ones need to know
It is often thought that it is good to make a will for the distribution of property. The idea of where my final resting place is is also important to us. Is it according to family tradition, or is it next to my loved one.
Who takes care of
Primarily the person you have named, or your spouse, the person who lived with you in marital conditions at the time of death, the closest heirs, other relatives or the municipality.
Coffin burial or cremation
There are two legal burial methods in Finland, coffin burial and cremation. You can define these yourself in the Funeral Plan Document.
Regardless of religion
The Burial Act defines that one has the right to be buried in the way of the church or also non-religiously.
Official document – works everywhere
The system is available to all entities operating in Finland. The Funeral Plan Document is compatible with all parties handling these documents, e.g. Law and attorney offices, Funeral homes, Digital and Population Data Services Agency, Tax Office and also with banks.
